A Brief Report of NEMTUS Stress Testing with ShizuiNet Devices
I made a brief report of NEMTUS Stress Testing held on Janurary 28, 2021. I used ShizuiNet devices that constantly sent 120k transactions to both public (Symbol testnet) and private (Mijin) chains, and, tried to evaluate the error rate and network stability. The private chain, Mijin (Fushicho 5 version), was used as a control showing baseline error rate (1.4% of the transactions returned error messages). The stability of the Symbol testnet was apparently dropped down by the excess transactions during stress test (error rate increased to 19.1% and 2.8% of transactions were lost), and, such negative effects sustained even after the stress was removed.
